Feb 22, 2013 · Is the SBL a different model guide gun? Mine has a straight stock, which I prefer. I have a stainless 45-70 with the muzzle brake (early guide gun), a 1894P which is a 44 mag guide gun setup 16.5" barrel. And a 336D, a 35 rem guide gun, my youngest brother has a 444P, again the 444 guide setup.

The barrel is 18.5", unported, with a full length mag tube. Stocks are laminated with green paint and black spiderwebbing. And yes, stainless. With a black finish. Perfect for Oregon fall weather without being shiny.
